Painting Wonders, Creating Smiles

Recently, I was looking through some old sketchbooks and came across an old children’s story that I had written some years ago. Since publishing Dancing on Sunbeams, I’ve been looking for my next project, and believe I have found it! There is no title yet, I’ll let you know when I figure that out. In the meantime, I’ll be working on my process… Starting with character design and storyboarding. I hope to share some of my process along the way. Lynne
What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.

Welcome to My Creative World: Lynne McSherry
Hi there! I’m Lynne McSherry, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to my artistic space. For as long as I can remember, art has been my way of bringing joy and capturing the beauty and magic around us. Through my illustrations, I aim to evoke smiles, inspire creativity, and remind others of the whimsy in everyday life.
One of my proudest creations is my children’s book, Dancing on Sunbeams, which combines storytelling with colorful illustrations designed to enchant young minds. Creating art for children is incredibly rewarding because it lets me connect with their sense of wonder and curiosity. It’s a chance to show the world through their eyes—vibrant, playful, and full of possibilities.
I hope that when you explore my gallery, you’ll feel a sense of joy and connection. Each piece I create carries a little bit of my heart, whether it’s a whimsical drawing or a scene inspired by nature. My website also features a blog where I plan to share the stories behind my work and the inspiration that fuels my creative process. I love talking about the joy and challenges of being an artist, and I hope my thoughts inspire others to explore their own creativity.
If you’re someone who loves art, imagination, and storytelling—or if you’re just curious about the creative process—I think you’ll find something here that resonates with you. Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to sharing this colourful journey with you.
Come on in and explore!
